We’ve all been there. We log onto YouTube to watch our favorite videos, or the newest video from our favorite content creator and then BAM! Seeing an ad here and there is more than fine, but when several ads appear, especially in short videos, it can get old pretty fast. Yvett for Android aims to solve this problem. Is it effective? Keep reading.
When loaded up, Yvette displays your ilked videos
Yvett requires you to sign in through your Google account so it can link its functionality. Once you link the app, the fun begins. The interface is super simple. There are three main icons.

The Interface
For this overview we will focus on the first two. When you load up the app, you will see all of the channels you’ve subscribed to which is a nice touch. You can browse through all of your subscribed channels so you can get to your content creator the fastest.
Yvett lets you scroll through liked videos and subscribed channels
Additionally, you can scroll through all of your liked videos. If you are trigger happy with the like button, you will be presented with a pretty exhaustive list. This may come in handy however as if you’re out and about, you can just pick up where you left off and enjoy content without interruption.
One Trick Pony
You might be asking “what else?”. Yvette does one thing and does it well, and that is what it advertises. It blocks ads so you don’t have to see them. We used two devices to test its effectiveness. The first device, our tablet had the app installed. The other, our phone, did not. As expected, whenver we watched videos on our phone, ads appeared. When we watched them on our tablet through the app, they did not. It couldn’t be any more clear that Yvett worked, and 100 percent of the time.
