Anyone who has watched movies such as Trading Places, The Boiler Room or the Wolf Of Wall Street, or those who have watched as dozens of people have become millionaires overnight because of the crypto craze in the earlier part of this decade has has some level of intrigue when it comes to trading and the market. If you have no investments in the crypto market specifically right now and either don't know how to get in, or feel overwhelmed at what the undertaking might be needs to know about "Madyez" for Android, the semi-realistic trading environment built to get people familiar with cryptocurrency.

Entering Maydez
Madyez promotes itself as an educational app. The premise is that by utilizing a simulation, you can learn the ropes without the risk. How realistic is it though?
When you load up Maydez, you are given $2000 of "money" to invest. The main screen shows you the distribution of your account balance across the currencies you currently hold. Directly underneath the balance is the total traded and your profit/loss. Toward the bottom of the screen see how much you've earned from "challenges" is displayed. There, you can view the number of challenges you've correctly answered and responded to in total.
Tutorial walk through and initial home screen
The main menu is at the bottom of the screen. Here you have your home button, trading area ("Buy Crypto"), your wallet which shows your holdings and earnings, an area for challenges and finally your account area where you can adjust settings, make in-app purchases or receive support.
Trading
What makes Madyez stand out is it's ultra-realism. The app listing says "semi-realistic", but in my opinion, it's as real as it gets. In the trading area, you get real time data of the price points of each crypto type. If XRP moves up a few cents, it is reflected in the buying area. To purchase, you simply select the kind of crypto you wish to invest in and purchase. Like the major real exchanges, you can purchase in the number of coins or in U.S. Dollars. This is great practice. Say, you're starting out and are afraid to invest a lot, you can make fractal purchases. As an example, at this time, Ethereum is trading at $2472. We invested $1000 USD which netted us approximately .4 Ethereum.
Ultr-realistic simulation with real time data will make you feel like you're trading on a live exchange
Once the purchase is made, the market position and earnings are reflected on your home screen and wallet. I purchased Ethereum, XRP and Dogecoin. Within minutes, because of volatile markets, my total went from $2150 (we started off with $2000, but earned some money before trading. More on that later) up to $2190 and then down to $2144. Nice!
Challenges
To earn more cash to invest, one can take challenges. Challenges are trivia questions divided into different subject areas. Social Studies was the one we chose. We received questions about politics, law, and the presidency. Prior to trading, we answered three questions correctly which boosted our tradable cash to $2150 from $2000. You can keep answering more questions to accrue more money.
Educational Component - Triva Challenges Help You Acquire More Cash To Invest
If you wish to boost your holdings even more, you can opt for the in app purchases. For as little as $1.99, you can collect a few hundred dollars. This is useful if you get overzealous and spend your life away, or if you just want to try out more options.
Using the "Challenge" option in the bottom menu, you can view a line graph which shows how your responses impacted your balance. You can see your total gained rewards, correctly answered questions and total number of questions answered.

Is This For You?
I am rating this app a solid five stars for its educational value and realism. Madyez can have so many use cases. If you're someone who is starting out, or if you are a high school or college teacher and want to give your students some investing experiences, Madyez can't be beat. Anyone who has had experience using exchanges such as Coinbase or Binance will tell you that this app "feels" just like the real thing. Younger audiences will get a kick out of the trivia questions. You have to try it out yourself. The graphics and charts are modern and colorful and the app only asks for the best investment someone could give, which is your time. You can download it here (Android).
